Baracoa’s favourite restaurant is El Caracol. It is the main gastronomy unit of the Commerce Enterprise in the city.
The unit is located in the heart of the city and has capacity for 32 people. It is relevant for its acclimatized saloon, decoration and charming bar-restaurant; but even better is the manner of the elegant, young and nice girls that work there, whose attention can not be better.
"The client is the reason of our work, and all the staff knows that, that is why we do our best for the people coming here to have a wonderful stay”, says Rolando Labañino Lores, manager of the restaurant.
“We vary the offer as much as possible –says Labañino- and we prepare diverse dishes from chicken, egg, fish and pork”.
"The demand is high, although we need a more stable supply of beer and run, this also to prepare special drinks”.
Celia Mariana Lobato, chief of the kitchen and worker of the restaurant for 15 years confesses to be very charmed for her work:” When the cook prepares the food with great quality, he fells very well, the client is thankful and of course will come back; I am very demanding with myself and try do always my best.
Clients assure the quality of the restaurant
Yuniel Stibens and Eliyennis Frometa, social workers that for months have had lunch in the restaurant reaffirm the opinion of the population: “The food is delicious”, says the first one, and the latter adds: “The service is efficient and very quick”.
Antonio Cabrera, who was having dinner there said, the service is good and the attention of the stuff is appropriate, they are very nice and friendly: “I have been eaten here for some days, and although the offer must vary, the treatment is magnificent”.
Having one of the best restaurants of the province, created 29 years ago, is a good reason for Baracoa population to be proud and to continue working to improve the comfort and keep it like one of the jewels of the city.
